About Value for Schools

Value for Schools was created by Baasit Siddiqui; educator first and foremost, and also a well-known TV personality, professional speaker and author.

After over 15 years working in schools and alongside education organisations, Baasit saw two things clearly: educators are navigating an increasingly crowded, fast-moving landscape, and some of the most inspiring work in education often goes unseen.

Value for Schools was created to bridge that gap.

The platform brings together trusted resources, CPD, EdTech and inspiring stories supporting schools, educators and, above all, the children and families they serve. From professional development and wellbeing support to insightful reports and meaningful partnerships, everything featured is chosen for its relevance and impact.

At its heart, Value for Schools is about motivation, inspiration and celebration; connecting educators with the organisations, initiatives and opportunities that help schools thrive, while shining a light on the people driving positive change across education.

Let's Thrive

Let’s Thrive, created by Baasit Siddiqui, supports learners from primary school through to further/higher education and the world of work building digital literacy, entrepreneurial thinking and, above all, a human-centred approach to personal growth and future pathways. Built around the 7Cs to Thrive (curiosity, creativity, collaboration, compromise, communication, community and courage), learners are encouraged to reflect on their own strengths and potential.

The programme runs through three core areas: Passports to Thrive which are free resources exploring how the 7Cs apply in education, work and everyday life; Projects to Thrive is an independent or collaborative challenges spanning app design, podcasting, TV concepts, business creation and charitable initiatives; and Proud to Thrive is celebration and recognition, from assemblies and medals for younger students to testimonials and recommendations for college and university learners.

Let’s Thrive can be delivered digitally across a whole school, college or organisation, or through more personalised partnerships with Baasit and the wider team. Every programme and partnership is supported with a case study showcasing its impact.
