At Value for Schools, we believe great education starts with supported, confident and well-developed educators. That is why our long-standing partnership with Tes Institute is one that Baasit Siddiqui values deeply.

Baasit has worked with Tes Institute since 2018 and has had the privilege of supporting hundreds of teachers in gaining Qualified Teacher Status both in the UK and internationally. Over the years, he has worked across a range of programmes including Straight to Teaching, the Assessment Only route, the IPGCE and the iQTS programme.

Through mentoring, training and supporting educators throughout their journey, Baasit has seen first-hand the impact Tes Institute continues to have on the profession. Their programmes provide flexible but robust pathways that allow teachers to earn while they learn, build confidence in the classroom and develop the skills needed to thrive in education.

Most importantly, Tes Institute helps educators gain recognised qualifications and QTS in a way that opens doors to future opportunities within the profession.

What makes this partnership especially meaningful is the shared understanding that teacher development should be evidence-informed, practical and human-centred. Tes Institute is led by educators who understand the realities of the classroom and the importance of supporting teachers in a balanced and sustainable way.

This closely aligns with Baasit Siddiqui’s own approach to education and professional development. Both Value for Schools and Tes Institute believe that when teachers feel supported, valued and confident, the positive impact on children and school communities is transformational.

Together, this partnership continues to support educators at every stage of their journey, helping develop skilled, reflective and future-ready teachers who can make a lasting difference in the lives of young people.
